Paul Williams the modern day Henry Armstrong

Featured, Opinion Articles, Submitted Articles, Videos

By Lou Block

Paul Williams is one of the most avoided boxers in the game today!  With his combination punching, his stamina, his reach and height advantage can you blame guys like Manny Pacquiao and Kelly Pavlik from facing this genetic specimen?

I know if I was a manager and I wanted to protect my fighter I for sure would avoid Paul “The Punisher” Williams like the  H1N1, Swine Flu.

I guess being this good is frightening for opposing promoters who want to keep their fighters winning against handpicked opposition rather then face a threat like Williams.

Paul Williams is the modern day version of  Henry Armstrong. Williams fights at 147, 154, and 160 in a very reminiscent fashion to Armstrong who in 1 year held the featherweight, lightweight and welterweight titles simultaneously.

Paul Williams is a buzzsaw in the ring I have not seen a fighter like him in recent times, a fighter who throws hundreds of punches and has stamina that could allow him to fight 15 rounds.

This man deserves a shot at a big fight, he is one of the most exciting fighters in boxing and he has a fan friendly style that would help people appreciate the sweet science again.

All boxing fans and casuals fans need to check this man out whenever he has a fight, because you are witnessing a greatness  in the making.

Nice quick post about the Punisher. I have been raving about him for years. It seems like people have forgotten that he defeated Antonio Margarito, and we aren’t sure if Antonio was using illegal hand wraps back then or not!

All the names, and I mean All the names are avoiding him. He said he wanted to fight Mayweather last year, but I don’t hear Floyd saying much of anything in return.

Hopefully somebody will give him a shot at a big money bout, because he is a real boxing gem!

Stupid article again PACMAN is da KING! Paul william is a cheater he is like 6 foot 3 not impressive to me because PACMAN he fights guys who are bigger, it is easy for william to fight guys smaller like pacman.
Let us see what williams can do at 160 first before you claim he is great.

Right now the greatest of all time in boxing is Manny Pacquiao
