How come the Indonesians who have nothing to do with Manny Pacquiao, was able to broadcast the fight through TV ONE (Asia Link) ad-sponsored, live as it happened, in real-time, via satellite, on the clear, un-ENCRYPTED and FREE-to-Air? While the Philippine network who was able to secure the rights to air the program has to broadcast it delayed even with the multiple repetitive ads it was able to book as sponsors for the telecast? And why was the PAY-per-view provider SOLAR ALL ACCESS has to show advertisements during the telecast when satellite DTH and CATV subscribers have already paid additional subscription on top of the monthly fee just to be able to access event? Isn't this double jeopardy, making money from both the subscribers and the advertisers? Regret that's what Philippine Television is and we at PhilDISH want to change this... One hour?
