Congratulations Manny Pacquiao, but Mayweather will stop your reign

I have to say there is no excuse from me, Miguel Cotto got beat by Manny Pacquiao! But that wasn’t a tough task especially knowing that Cotto tends to fade and like Freddie Roach said Cotto has never been the same since the Antonio Margarito fight.
I still question why they didn’t show the unofficial weights, maybe cotto came in light? I wasn’t really impressed with Pacquiao performance wise, he didn’t show the elusiveness he had against a shot Oscar De La Hoya and David Diaz. Miguel played into Pacquiao’s game by coming forward early and trying to muscle up Pacman and paid for it.
What did impress me was the ability for Manny to take a real welterweight punch. Manny looked like he was taking some PCP or stimulants he was just eating heavy shots and smiling. It reminded me of the first Alexis Arguello vs. Aaron Pryor boxing match, when Panama Lewis asked for the special bottle that he mixed, which could suggest the bottle had some stimulants in it to give Pryor a second boost. In that fight Pryor walked through everything Arguello threw at him and took him out in the later rounds, but in a much more impressive fashion than what Pacman did to Cotto.
How could Cotto really have a fighting chance when he fought without a trainer. Joe Santiago was useless in the corner, there was a moment in the fight when Miguel’s dad had to come up to the ring and give his son advice. It is very hard to fight a guy like Pacquiao who is all over the place without a proper trainer or training camp.
I give Pacman credit for the victory, but he still has some questions to be answered, like how would he do against a slick Black fighter? I would like to see him against a prime guy who will have a complete camp with the proper trainer and game plan.
That fighter is Floyd Mayweather Jr., Money Mayweather will not fight Pacman’s fight. Mayweather will use his supreme boxing brain and outsmart and out class the Filipino Fireball. I keep saying this sweet science is a game or skill and technique. A come forward aggressor like Manny Pacquiao would be an easy fight for Floyd.
Mayweather Jr. vs. Pacquiao must happen! I put my money on Mayweather Jr. the greatest fighter of this decade and possibly the best of all times.

Dube, give credit when credit is due. As what all pachaters do, they come up with irrational reasons to diminish Pacquiao’s victory.
Here are the following irrational points that you had against Pacquiao
1) “Cotto tends to fade in the later rounds”.
-I dont think Cotto faded because that’s what he does in the later rounds. Pacquiao made him fade in the later rounds, that’s the primary reason why. When you absord a knockout punch like that in the fourth round and heavy assault from 2nd-7th round, you are going to run out of gas, slow down, and run out of power in your punch. The beatdown has a lot more to do with fading of Cotto than Cotto himself.
2) “Manny can absorb Cotto’s punch, he may be taking pcp or stimulants”
-This is a common theme amongst pachaters. Cant you just appreciate the guy that he may be just that good? As you follow Pac’s training camp, he is a well conditioned athlete, will workout for 4-5 hours nonstop, without break. Steriods improve strength, that’s a given, but it’s doesnt improve endurance. Pac is just a natural machine. If you know your facts, if you trace pacquiao’s history, even when he was young, malnourished, unpolished teenager, he already had that punching power. He was already knocking guys out with that left hand. When he started making money, he was able to eat more nutritious food and afford a conditioning coach to follow his diet which that much makes him more powerful. Besides being a well conditioned athlete, he is likewise well-conditioned mentally. He does eastern-rooted rituals that conditions his mind that allows him to have a high pain threshold: The guy smiles because he loves pain.
3) “Cotto has no trainer” (Eyes rollin shoulder shruggin)I would not offer explanation for this.
4) “Cotto is damaged goods”
-He didn’t look like a damaged good to me in the beginning rounds? He was the bully, duking it out Pacquiao. And dont tell me he was weight drain. He weighed in 146 lbs in the clottey fight. He just turned 29, one pound would not make you weight drained. He looked in great shape in the fight (Cotto is one my favorie fighters too)
4) “The Pac can’t deal with pbf”
-YOu may be right with this, I’ll be honest.
Pbf has the potential to beat pacquiao on a unanimous decision becuase of his superb boxing skills but that’s the only way I see pbf winning the fight. No way in hell pbf punches harder than cotto, and many took cotto’s punches, i wouldn’t say with ease, but it didn’t hurt him. Pbf is a defensive specialist, he prides himself from not getting hit. But can he evade the Pac’s assault the whole 12 rounds? I doubt it. Can he knock the Pac out? I even highly doubt it. Can Pac knock him out? If Pacquiao can knock a big burly welterweight down who also possesses a great chin, much more with Pbf.
I hope this fight occurs, because each fighter has every bit of chance of beating the other. Im starting to hate taking OB calls(Im an anesthesiologist) because when the L&D ward is quiet, Im compelled to read and sometimes respond to these baseless articles. But I shouldn’t complain, I still get paid regardless.
