Pacquiao-Mayweather Mega fight could land in Dallas Cowboy’s stadium
Although Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao have yet to come to an agreement or finalize any type of deal, the buzz and demand for this boxing match is one of the hottest in sports.
The event is so hot even Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has shown major interest in landing the opportunity to host this historical match up at his brand new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas.
This is what the NFL team owner Jerry Jones said in an article by Clarence E. Hill Jr. for the Star-Telegram:
“We’re in a sensitive time there and don’t want to comment on that right now, but that’s going to be – if it happens – that’s going to be a great fight and really with the visibility of our stadium and location, we really have our eye on the ball here is the best way to put it.” Jones said regarding the possible Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao mega fight.
The Dallas Cowboy’s stadium seats anywhere from 80,000 – 111,000. The cost to build the stadium was around $1.8 billion dollars. A highlight of Cowboys Stadium is the gigantic high-definition television screen which hangs in the center of the stadium, the largest in the world, also known as “JerryVision”. The stadium will be hosting the 2011 NFL Superbowl and the upcoming NBA 2010 All Star Game as well as other major sporting and entertainment events in the years to come.

It’s funny to read all the nonsense from MMA fans! MMA is garbage…take boxing and throw all the rules out the window and what do you have? You have MMA, which is basically equivalent to a bar fighting. Keep in mind that a bar fight typically involve individuals who were incapable of evolving past caveman status. That is the reason why it is so appealling to white trash cavemen and the ADD culture, because it requires minimal thinking and minimal athleticism…In fact, most of the people involved in the “sport” rely on sloppiness and luck in order to win…what a great sport!!!

Before I say anything, let me say I’m a huge fan of both MMA and Boxing since I’m a fighter junkie. But the real truth is boxing is the most dangerous and tougher than mma. there’s no doubt that mma are also strong and they have a lot of tricks up their sleeves, but a boxer’s punches are 10 times as strong as mma since most of training involves punching. And they could take series punches since they always getting hit a lot. In mma, fighters fight in three rounds or five I’m main events. And already they get tired before than. Boxing is twelve rounds of brutal beating and they hardly get tired. A mma fighter against a boxer is like cat and mouse! Mma fighters make thousands and couple millions while pro top boxers make 10 20 millions! That should tell u why people…and boxing is filled with lots of blacks and Latinos but hardly any whites because the hard toughness of the sport so they go to mma. And before u people say this is a racist thing, its not cuz I’m white myself! Its the awful TRUTH! boxing is deadly!

Even as a bigtime MMA fan I really appreciate boxing! I don’t see how any MMA fan could not be excited about this boxing bout -unless they are ignorant bandwagon MMA fans (yeah i said it). At my MMA gym we have a BOXING coach to teach us because that is what and all he does is eat, sleep, and dream boxing. He is the best at what he does. Striking is a major aspect in MMA and these boxers are tremendously focused skilled at their craft. They are the greatest strikers in there generation and perhaps of ALLTIME. MMA fighters could not become this skilled at striking because they are too involved with multiple fight styles. And that is why an MMA fan should really appreciate the world class focused effort of boxing – because it is an aspect of MMA. Are you ignorant MMA fans going start bashing jiu jitsu or wrestling next too. MMA and boxing are two different sports. Both are awesome and both should be appreciated by any fight fan. Stop being so stupid with the “my dad can beat up your dad” crap everyone. A real fight fan should love both/all fight sports
