Freddie Roach’s wish list of Pacquiao sparring partners
By Nowboxing Staff
Freddie Roach has expressed that sparring is a big factor for a Manny Pacquiao victory against undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Roach has a holiday wish list of sparring partners to help prepare his Filipino charge for his toughest fight yet in a March 13, 2010 showdown versus Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The list includes current WBO light welterweight title holder Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley, WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto who faces Sugar Shane Mosley in January of 2010 on HBO, and Amir Khan who has already sparred with Pacquiao in the past for his fight against Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya.
Roach has went up against Mayweather Jr. before when he trained Oscar De La Hoya in May of 2007 to a split decision loss in which one judge had Oscar winning the fight.
The fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will be broadcast live on HBO boxing Pay Per View.

If I was Berto, I wouldn’t help freiddie roach train for Manny. What if Berto fights Manny after the Mayweather fight. I think Berto shouldn’t lower himself to a sparring partner. He is a up and comming star .This should be beneath him. Roach thinks he is slick . IF YOU ARE AN UP AND COMMMNG STAR DON’T EVER ALLOW YOURSELF TO BECOME A SPARRING PARTNER ! !
Good to know that Roach is preparing for Pacquiao’s training as early as now.
