UFC President Dana White sides with Pacquiao over Mayweather drug testing demand

During media interviews for Saturday’s Jan. 2 UFC 108: Rashad Evans Vs. Thiago Silva press conference, Dana White who runs the UFC and a huge boxing fan shared his thoughts on the failed super fight negotiations between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
Dana White had this to say about Mayweather’s forced demand on Olympic style drug testing “It’s crazy I don’t think the fight will happen. I think this… Pacquiao’s never failed a drug test ever! Whose Floyd to say you have to take a Olympic style drug test? I’d do the same thing Pacquiao’s doing, really ( it’s like saying)I want you to get an enema… I mean fighters decide what fighters are gonna do? That is what the commission is there for. The athletic commission is there for the safety of the fighters they drug test, they blood test, they do all those other things. For another fighter to call another fighter out over for some type of blood work is crazy! Just train for the fight and fight that’s what everybody wants to see…I wanna see this fight I’m dying to see this fight.”
The super fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao has been declared dead by Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank.
Pacquiao recently filed a lawsuit against Team Mayweather, Golden Boy Promotions – Oscar De La Hoya and Richard Schaefer, over steroid allegations.
Pacquaio’s lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said: “Manny’s achievements come from God-given talent and an indefatigable work ethic – not steroids…He cannot and will not allow others to deliberately misrepresent his years of hard work and tarnish his reputation.”
Arum is now trying to finalize an HBO pay per view deal for Pacquiao to face slick undefeated Jewish boxing champion Yuri Foreman who holds the WBA title at 154 lbs. Pacquiao would be going for an unprecedented 8 world titles in 8 weight divisions. Foreman is the much bigger and taller opponent, he is a boxer known for his hit and not get hit style.

There was a Video was taken 2005 after their fight with Morales. You guys have look for it on you tube. I do believe that Manny is for Real. Boxers are very selective about the food and drink that they take before the fight. After those rigorous training taking blood to this fighter could really affect their performance. To replenish the blood taken from anyone is to drink a lot of water. That is no longer right because that changes the cycle of the amount of water that he had to take. Blood was taken from Pacquiao 2 days before that fight with Morales. No PED detected on that test, but Pacquiao became very weak and that was documented.. Mayweather had seen that video and we know that he is always looking for his advantage and this is one he thinks that could get him the “W” if Pacman cave-in. Pac is not that dumb. Got that?

mayweather had to complicate a much anticipated fight. why? he is SCARED of pacquiao. but he is SMART… if pacquiao goes along with his demand and the tests turn out negative (as expected), he can be less scared (but still SCARED) that pacquiao might knock him out cold like he did hatton.… ALSO if pacquiao goes along with the random tests, pacquiao just might feel weakened by the drawing of his blood in the days nearing the fight…. and if pacquiao does NOT go along with this random blood tests and the fight did proceed and floyd LOSES badly, he can have an excuse that manny might have used PEDs… floyd is just plain SCARED of manny pacquiao
He Pro-Floyd fans! I’m a floyd fan myself and Pacman as well. But thinking that pac is at fault here is a total crock. Fight under the rules of the boxing commission. If you want to change the rules, then take it up to the commission. When Manny wanted to fight with 8oz gloves where 10oz gloves were only used for welterweight, they took it to the commission and got it approved. Floyd should’ve at least done that. No one is above the commission. I congratulate Pacman for suing the other parties. It outs EVERYONE in place for future negotiations on ANY FIGHTER. Other Boxers, especially fighters that are trying to go up in the ranks. You got these elite fighters asking for stupid consessions to gain advantage.
Of course Manny takes performance enhancing substances: they are called balut and san miguel beer.
Mayweather should eat balut and drink san miguel beer negra instead of sticking to fried chicken that causes PBF to blow hot air outside a fight ring.

Dana White is still upset that FLOYD MAYWEATHER’S PPV numbers smash the UFC’s EVERYTIME! I love the UFC but Mayweather is the greatest fighter and biggest draw on the PLANET! I’m not sure if PACMAN is cheating or not, but if he would agree to the testing that would certainly clear up the issue.
