Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight DEAD! Mayweather Jr. refuses to accept offer

After nine long hours of mediation on Tuesday, Jan. 5 with retired federal judge Daniel Weinstein, the two camps for fighters Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao worked hard to come up with promising contract revisions they felt that both fighters would agree on.
But on Wednesday Jan. 6, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao were both given the revised proposal which Pacquiao reviewed and agreed on, but Mayweather Jr. didn’t and rejected the new offer.
The mega fight was scheduled to take place on March 13, 2010 at MGM Grand Las, Vegas. Since Mayweather Jr.s refusal the fight is declared dead.
There is no news of what the new proposal contained. The main problem holding the fight back was Olympic style blood testing demands from the Mayweather Jr. camp which stemmed from steroid accusations of Manny Pacquiao by the Mayweather family.

Man o’ Man.. Some people on here have some crazy views on this matchup… Bottom line is mayweather is trying to mess with Manny’s mind. He knows that manny hates needles and he truly believes that drwing blood before the fight makes him weak. The mind is a powerful organ and if Manny believes it then this gives mayweather an advantage.Manny agreed to be tested immediately after the fight so if he was using PED’s he would not even agreee to that! Use your brains people! Floyd wants nothing to do with Manny because he is afraid he will lose. Plain and simple. Floyd loves money and for him to miss a payday like this shows he is scared.
Mayweather will go down in the history not as an undefeated champion but as “Mayweather or Mayfeather the undefeated chicken of boxing world!!!” Nice title eh

For those of you who are Non-Athletes and just fight fans, you need to take it from someone who is both. If you have ever competed against someone who has used PEDS/Blood doping etc…, then you will know why it is alarming. PEDS change everything. It is the reason why A-ROD can hit 39 hr one year and 56 the next. It’s is the reason why Lance Armstrong can win a Tour de France while fighting cancer etc… These things tip the scale, not slightly, but dramatically. People are always inventing new was take drugs without being detected. Marion Jones did not get detected for PED’s/HGH until after her career was over. The Sport Industry are usually at a lag when it comes to testing for these things. I like both fighters, but take it from someone who has competed and lost against opponents who have taken PED’s/HGH. It is a big deal and can definately be the difference between a win and loss.
Sadly we include the other standard testing to compare with this one. First of all boxing have their own standard as the other sporting games has and with the players or athletes acknowledging that standard. If you then ask for more tests, the board has the right to agree or disagree with you. But in this case everybody agree except Mayweather, which simply said is too scare to fight Pacman. He (mayweather) has the record or history of refusing to fight the other great boxers like mosley, cotto, etc. Simply put Mayweather championship belt is tainted. He did not defend it. He just keeps it in his closet. He will not retire as undefeated champion but rather as “undefended champion”. I respect more the other fighters who loss but gallantly fight to put his best for the boxing fan.
I dont care personally if pac-man is using or not, I think he isa great fighter however I pick Money-May to make it look easy again if they fight. That being said no matter if you like mayweather or pacquio think about this what wouldnt you do for 40-50 million dollars. Pac-man should take the test especially if he is clean.
thagod, I think you need to check the history and the last agreement. Pacman agree. Money-Gay reject the agreement period. Clean or not, Money-Gay just want publicity. Before Cotto-Pacman he is crying it should be him fighting Pacman, now that it set, again same story, something to tell that the boxing world is not good anymore (same with cotto, mosley, dela hoya).
I suspect Gayweather take drugs when he won his belt and afraid he will lose it with clean one or his drug is not good enough with Pacman speed. How can he defend against pacman if he on (gayweather) drug hehehe. You can only do it with slow puncher, that’s how Gayweather won the championship belt hehehe.

Gayweather can only win if he fight (or even pacman can win only when the game happen), if not he and his camp and fans just loss. Boxing world also loss cause we just want to see a good fight, pound for pound, no fake reality show thats happening now. “Fight if you can, shut up if you can’t”.(sorry just trying some words rhythm, nothing personal).
