What Pacquiao Should Do To Clear His Name

I am Filipino and of course a Manny Pacquiao fan. I fully understand the issue on drug testing – both sides will never agree to pressure as this will mean mental advantage for their opponent.
However, and whatever – it has tarnished the image of the Pacman and the fight fans will always have some doubt in their minds on the abilities of Manny Pacquiao, if he will not subject himself to the drug-testing. After reading the article “USADA’s Travis Tygart on Blood-Testing, Steroids, Boxing” by Lem Satterfield.
Following are my recommendations for PACMAN to CLEAR his name:
1. Approach USADA and ask them to educate him on the drugs, blood testing, etc.
2. After understanding, be an advocate of the “random” Olympic style drug-testing. He can do this by asking that both him and Joshua Clottey be subjected to random blood testing. Request NSAC to conduct this type of testing on all the fighters.
3. Fight Joshua Clottey clean (proven after he takes the drug tests to silence the critics).
4. Continue with the lawsuit against Mayweather Jr., Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Golden Boy Promotions over steroid and performance enhancing drug allegations.
5. Do not fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the short term, maybe after 2 more fights.
There are many benefits to the above suggestions as follows:
1. Pacman will be able to clear his name from the slanderous steroid accusations by the Mayweather camp and fighters like Paulie Malignaggi and Kermit Cintron.
2. He will be a “HERO” in the random blood testing scandal.
3. He will be able to condition himself and by the time he fights Mayweather, it is already ingrained in his mind that the blood tests will not weaken him.
4. Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not have the mental advantage over Pacquiao.
5. He pursues the case and have the “mental” advantage over Mayweather.

Manny Pacquiao doesn’t to say anything anymore with regards to Mayweather accusation against him. Only the groups of the Mayweathers and the Golden hypocrites would keep on talking about it to get people’s attention. Not anymore. Everyone knows now that their intentions are to malign Manny’s reputation. Mayweather, the greatest fighter in the world, (according to him and his father) will remain undefeated till he retires. Coward Mayweather is not going to fight Mosley 100% sure. When he say something you can bet he’s doing the opposite. He’s going to fight Malignaggi or the brother of Ricky Hatton and then he’ll fight Ricky’s father, then his mother. He’ll retire undefeated. You can bet on it.
Manny does not need to do anything to clear his name. There is nothing to be done to clean his name to begin with. He is the greatest boxer of all time, possibly and already. He does not need to fight Mayweather. After one more fight, he can retire as one of the greatest fighters of all time.

I agree with Mr. Sison’s suggestion in this article, that Manny agree to blood testing for this bout with Clottey.
I am Filipino as well as a Pacquiao fan. I understand that Pacman may have been refusing Mayweather’s terms for the sake of: 1) refusing to be bullied and thus giving away his psychological advantage, 2) his personal superstition and beliefs (which we all know as Pinoys are quite strong) – but it cannot be denied that for fight fans who are not die-hard Manny supporters, Mayweather’s allegations and Manny’s refusal have tarnished all of his accomplishments with a shadow of doubt.
Unfortunately, Manny’s reputation has been attacked, not in a court of law, but rather in the court of public opinion – where most of the time it IS a case of guilty until proven innocent.
If Manny does agree to blood testing for this bout with Clottey, it works to his advantage because:
1. He choses to take the drug tests himself and not on any other fighter’s terms – showing that his reason for not giving into Mayweather is because he will not be bullied into doing it.
2. He proves to his detractors that once and for all that he is clean and his legacy remains intact – that of a talented, unprecedented fighter who got to where he was because of dedication and hard work.
3. It’s the ultimate “up yours” gesture to Mayweather – because ultimately, Manny will be vindicated and Mayweather will realize that by trying to strong arm Manny, all Mayweather managed to do was piss at the chance at $40 million dollars and make history.
Lastly, sa mga kapwa Pinoy ko na die hard fans ni Manny, ipakita natin sa mga banyagang ito na hindi tayo pikon, na tayo ay may dignidad at hiya.
