Emanuel Steward to train Yuri Foreman for Cotto fight

According to Boxing Scene, Jewish WBA 154 lb champion, Yuri Foreman, will train with hall of fame boxing trainer and HBO commentator Emanuel Steward for his upcoming fight with Miguel Cotto in June.
Miguel Cotto is coming off a devastating 12th round TKO loss to Manny Pacquiao in November of 2009 and will be making his 154 pound debut against the undefeated WBA champ Yuri Foreman.
Emanuel Steward has trained some of the best fighters in boxing history from Tommy Hearns, Oscar De La Hoya, Julio Cesar Chavez, Prince Naseem Hamed, Lennox Lewis and he currently trains heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

im just not one of those fans that steps way as soon as their fighter looses. in my eyes cotto is one of the best fighters out there…”what doesnt break you only makes you stronger.” cotto has been in some mean wars, we shouldnt count him out, he only has 2 loses on his record and one is suspicious (margarito), he lost to manny paquiao on pacmans demands although he was the champion at the time ( catch weight). and lost in 12 round stopage. he has been in law suits , one by his own uncle, he fired his old t rainer, (lol his uncle by the way) and just recently lost his father,…he has not pulled out of the fight which only means that he is hungry to get this fight with yuri and i think steward is just going to turn this really good fighter and turn him back to what he(cotto) used to be. a ” a great fighter” very smart boxer with power in both hands. he also has a great right hand but chooses not to use it.steward will get us that right hand that we want and will help cotto regain the tools to finish off fighters in ko style… steward is a technition, a strategist that knows all aspects of the game he will bring back that hungry fighter that cotto used to be, so new division, new start of life without his father and a new trainer. this could only be for good. imean he has nothing else to loose after what hes gone throuh, times could only get better for him, cotto finally gets a break form it all and will be able to win before it goes to decision. … if cotto can dominate the junior middleweight division , i wouldnt mind seeing paquiao and him go at it again. at what ever weight they want, but wtiht out a catch weight this time,,, when they fought it was a classic sell, with insane sales, more than a million in just ppv numbers,, so a second fight would be historical,,, two great fighters with two great trainer/strategist, going at it,,,it could only mean a classic war, and it will gnerate great amounts of money, and will give the fans one of the best boxing wars in boxing history.if they are still fighting.ne ways. go cotto! make everyone a beleiver again. cotto and steward could only mean good things.
