On December 8, 2012 we witnessed one of the most overrated boxers in history get exposed by a man who rightfully beat him three times before but was robbed, it was justice and it was very sweet. Juan Manuel Marquez the great Mexican boxing legend, finally put an end to the Manny Pacquiao hype with one single right hand punch that sent him sleeping on the canvas.
This Saturday December 15 another Filipino vs. Mexican battle will show on HBO, and just like the Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao 4 fight, a lot of people are writing Jorge Arce off just like they did Marquez, claiming this is a mismatch and they don’t know why it’s being made. I don’t see it that way, I think Jorge Arce with the help of the credible sports scientist Angel “Memo” Heredia will show an entirely different Arce in the ring, look what Heredia did for Marquez at 39 years old, he showed Marquez the proper way to put on muscle and the proper way to train, no steroids just hardwork and dedication.
It seems a lot of Pacquiao fans want to take away from Marquez’s knockout of Pacquiao, they have stooped so low and are now accusing him of taking steroids, well you can’t cry all you want about drug testing but your own fighter refused to do random blood and urine testing for his fights, so, stop complaining like a bunch of sour sore losers — you have no right to accuse a man of steroids and cheating when you have no evidence or proof. Remember you Pacquiao fans saying leave the drug testing up to the commission, now all of a sudden the tune changes when your fighter gets knocked out cold.
Many of the Pacquiao fans are also Nonito Donaire fans and if Jorge Arce exposes Nonito as another hype job, what will you say? Will you accuse Arce of steroids too or will you give him his credit? I have a strong gut feeling that if Arce comes in tip top shape and condition with the same aggressive fighting style against Nonito Donaire he will stop him either by TKO or KO. Nonito is hyped up, and just like Pacquiao he has fought nothing but smaller fighters, and past prime boxers. Nonito Donaire has never been tested by a guy who is as strong as Jorge Arce and as aggressive, we may see another KO of the year candidate on Saturday night.
If Arce KO’s Nonito, I don’t want any stones thrown at him for working with Angel “Memo” Heredia because just like Victor Conte, Heredia is a reformed steroid dealer, and it would be hypocritical of you Nonito fans to accuse Arce of doping when your own fighter works with an ex BALCO guy with a cheating past too.
