It is always great to see what type of nostalgic fights you can dig up on youtube, this amateur fight was at the 139 pound weight limit, Fernando Vargas was 17 years old back then with a full head of hair and David Diaz was 19 and sported a pencil thin mustache. Vargas who would later fight in the 154 pound weight division and David Diaz who would later win a WBC lightweight title were both teammates on the 1996 Olympic boxing team.
