On Saturday April 10, 2010, Former 4-time world heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield returns to the boxing ring to face South African WBF champ Frans Botha at the Thomas & Mack in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Holyfield is 47-years old and still feels he has what it takes to be competitive in the heavyweight division. Many believe Evander’s financial woes have kept him in the sport far to long, but Holyfield is out to prove them wrong.
Frans Botha dabbled in kickboxing and MMA ,but at 41-years old is back to boxing his first love. Botha holds the little known WBF heavyweight title and enters the ring as a champion.
