Following in the footsteps of the Showtime Super Six World Boxing Classic tournament, Showtime and STRIKEFORCE present an MMA tournament to find out who the best Heavyweight mixed martial arts fighter in the world is.
Showtime and STRIKEFORCE/ M-1 GLOBAL present the return of Fedor Emelianenko in his first fight back since his June 2010 submission defeat the Fabricio Werdum and the opening round in of the STRIKEFORCE World Grand Prix Heavyweight Tournament that will feature Fedor vs. Silva and Arlovski vs. Kharitonov, the winners will advance to the semi-finals round.
The official roster of the Heavyweights participating in the tournament are: Fedor Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem , Fabricio Werdum, Antonio Silva, Sergei Kharitonov, Andrei Arlovski, Josh Barnett and Brett Rodgers.
