HBO Boxing After Dark features a double header promoted by Don King live from Missouri. The headlining bout is Devon Alexander vs. Lucas Matthysse, and the co-feature bout is Tavoris Cloud vs. Yusaf Mack.
The main event features former 140-pound light welterweight champion Devin Alexander whose only loss came to Timothy Bradley and the hard hitting Argentine fighter Lucas Matthysse whose only loss is to Zab Judah. Both fighters hope a win tonight could get them a shot at the winner of the upcoming Amir Khan vs. Zab Judah unification bout in July (also televised on HBO boxing).
The co-main event is a light heavyweight title fight between the exciting undefeated champion Tavoris Cloud and tough veteran Yusaf Mack. Tavoris Cloud is the IBF light heavyweight champion winning the vacant belt against Clinton Woods in 2009 and defended it successfully twice and is looking to defend it a third time against Mack.
