Puerto Rican boxing star Juan Manuel “Juanma” Lopez (30-1, 27 KOs) returns to the boxing ring for the first time since his tough knockout loss to Mexican champion Orlando Salido last April and his opponent will be the crafty American Mike Oliver (25-2, 8 KOs). Juanma must put on an impressive performance over Mike Oliver to prove that he still has what it takes to be considered one of the elite fighters in the Super Featherweight division.
Two other Puerto Rican stars are also on the card, former champion from Puerto Rico Roman “Rocky” Martinez (24-1, 15 KOs) in a 12 round Super Featherweight fight against Daniel Attah (26-7-1, 9 KOs) of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Puerto Rican Jonathan Oquendo (21-2, 14 KOs) versus Jose Luis Araisa (32-4, 23 KOs) of San Diego, California in a 12 round Super Bantamweight fight.
Triple Crown III: Juan Manuel Lopez vs. Mike Oliver will be shown live on Pay-per-view in the United States on Dish Network PPV & DirecTV Mas (Espanol) Saturday, October 1, 9PM ET/ 6PM PT $39.99.
