Probably one of the most controversial big fight decisions in the history of boxing occurred on June 9, 2012 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the pound-for-pound best fighter in boxing Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao put his WBO welterweight title on the line against the undefeated former WBO light-welterweight champion Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley and came up short losing a split decision (one judge scored it 115-113 for Pacquiao, the other two scored it 115-113 for Bradley) in a fight that many ringside observers and boxing fans around the world had scored in favor of Pacquiao.
