Video: Manny Pacquiao looking sharp in preparation for Brandon Rios fight

August 22, 2013 By NB News

Eight division world boxing champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios in November in Macau, China and has already begun light training for the fight.

The Pacquiao vs. Rios fight is still a long way to go but the Pacman decided to begin working out a bit early since he took a long layoff to recover from his vicious one punch knockout loss to Mexican counterpart Juan Manuel Marquez last December.

A short clip of Pacquiao’s training was posted online through YouTube and it shows him doing some jump rope, heavybag work, and hitting the mitts with his friend and assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez. He looks sharper and punching with the same speed and accuracy so the physical ability is still there, but the biggest question remains and will only be answered on November 23rd, can he still take a punch after being knocked out cold?
