Showtime Championship Boxing heads to the U.S. Bank Arena, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the hometown of boxing star and former world champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner as he headlines the September 6 event against Emmanuel Taylor.
Three action packed fights will be broadcast live on the network, beginning with a welterweight bout between Andre Berto and Steve Upsher. Berto is a former WBC champion who is coming back from an injury and hopes to climb the ranks again to secure a shot at a world title.
The co-feature is a light welterweight showdown between hard hitting Argentinean slugger Lucas “The Machine” Matthysse and Roberto Ortiz.
Broner has called out Matthysse and wants to fight the dangerous puncher should bother fighters win tonight.
