How To Watch HBO Boxing: Gennady Golovkin vs. Dominic Wade For Free

April 23, 2016 By NB News

Some great news for boxing fans, HBO is having a FREE preview weekend starting Saturday April 22 through Sunday April 23, to entice viewers to subscribe to HBO by giving them a preview of the channel with shows like Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley,Veep, the premiere of Jurassic World, and the world premiere exclusive of Beyonce’s “Lemonade”. Part of the Free Preview weekend also includes the live HBO World Championship Boxing broadcast of Gennady Golovkin vs. Dominic Wade, and Roman Gonzalez vs McWilliams Arroyo.

Golovkin is an unbeaten middleweight champion from Kazakhstan with power in both hands, he has 34 fights with no losses and 31 by way of knockout, he holds WBA and IBF titles and has difficulty finding quality opponents to face because not many are willing to step up to face the fearsome puncher.

Dominic Wade an unknown fighter from Maryland, is also unbeaten with 18 wins, no losses and 12 knockouts to his record. His biggest win is a split decision victory over Australian veteran Sam Soliman. This will be a challenge for Wade, he can shock the world by being the first to beat Golovkin and pulling off a true underdog story, or he can wind up like the rest of GGG’s opponents left on the losing end – bruised and battered.

Also on the card is the exciting Nicaraguan WBC flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez defending his title against Puerto Rican challenger McWilliams Arroyo.

HBOFreePreviewWeekend

Golovkin vs. Wade, Chocoaltito vs. Arroyo, takes place at The Forum in Inglewood, California, on April 23, at 10:00PM ET/PT on HBO Free Preview Weekend.
