Lightweight fight between former world champion Marco Antonio Barrera and Olympic silver medalist Amir “King” Khan is set for March 14, 2009 in England.
The fight is being promoted by Frank Warren, and will be held at the MEN Arena, Manchester, England.
Amir Khan is trying to put the first round KO lost to Breidis Prescott back in September of 2008 behind him, and he is ready to take on a legend and future hall of famer in the same place he had his first career defeat.
Barrera has fought the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez, he is best known for his wars with Morales and being the first man to defeat Prince Naseem Hamed.
