After suffering a devastating first round knock out by Brett Rodgers on Last Saturday’s Strikeforce Showtime MMA card, Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski was medically suspended for 60 days which prevents him from making his scheduled boxing debut at the Staples Center on the HBO June 27  undercard of the  Chris John vs Rocky Juarez  rematch. The disappointing news was reported by Loretta Hunt of Sherdog.com on her blog. This was not Arlovski’s first time having to delay his boxing debut, The Pitbull had to delay his bout on the undercard of the Winky Wright vs Paul Williams fight last April due to a back injury he suffered during filming of the new Universal Soldier movie starring  Jean Claude Van Damme. Arlovski signed a multi deal boxing contract with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions but has yet to fight his first boxing match for the company.
