American boxing superstar Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather Jr. is favored by boxing experts to win his incoming boxing match with Mexican boxing star Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez on September 19.

But despite his underdog status Marquez is confident he can pull a surprise against the former top boxer in the planet in their fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas .

Marquez is currently training hard to upset the favored boxing superstar and inflict him his first loss in his 40 fights as a professional boxer.

Known in the boxing world as a topnotch counter-puncher, Marquez is set to use his jabs and over-all boxing skills to defeat Mayweather and arranged a third mega fight with his nemesis Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

The Mexican boxing warrior recently won his last two huge fights first against Cuban boxing star Joel Casamayor whom he knocked out in the 11th round September of last year.

After his exciting victory against Casamayor, Marquez followed it off with a masterful win against Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz via a ninth round knocked-out.

Prior to the two exciting fights, the boxing star also had a memorable battle with Pacquiao whom he had a draw and a loss in their two fights.

Marquez is hoping that a victory against Mayweather can solidify further his status as one of the best boxers in the planet.

Márquez had an amateur record of 35-1 that included two Golden Glove tournament wins.

He made his professional boxing debut at age 19 on May 29, 1993, and lost his first bout via disqualification to Javier Duran.

On the other side of the fence, Mayweather is himself training hard to beat Marquez in his first fight after a long lay-off due to his retirement.

The loud mouth Mayweather this early is optimistic he can win his 40th fight and continue his unblemished record in professional boxing.

The American boxing superstar also vowed to show the world that his long absence in the boxing ring do no diminish his skills as a professional boxer.

Mayweather is the son of Floyd Mayweather, Sr., a former welterweight boxing contender.

From July 18, 2005 through June 2, 2008 he was rated by The Ring magazine as the number-one pound for pound boxer in the world.

The boxing superstar has won six world boxing championships in five different weight classes; he is the former WBC welterweight champion, a title he vacated upon his retirement.
