Evander Holyfield’s Jan. 16 boxing match against South African Francois Botha in Kampala, Uganda has been pushed back to Feburary 20, 2010 to help give the fighters more time to train and get ready for the fight.

The organizer foresee an audience of close to 80,000 at Kampala’s Nelson Mandela Memorial Stadium.  The event will also be broadcast through pay per view.

The 47-year-old American ex-heavyweight champion’s last fight was a decision loss to Russian giant Nikolai Valuev in 2008.  Francois Botha’s last fight was a draw with Pedro Carrion of Cuba in October.

Botha has returned  back to boxing after spending time in K1 kickboxing competitions.
