Rising star, Shawn Porter, Manny Pacquiao’s chief sparring partner for the Miguel Cotto fight, will headline the Feb. 19, 2010 ESPN 2 “Friday Night Fights” from the Wolstein Center, Cleveland, Ohio at 9:00 pm ET/PT.
Porter trains out of the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, CA, with Freddie Roach, His father Ken Porter and Manny Pacquiao. Porter will be fighting in his home state of Ohio, and taking on the 6 feet 2 junior middleweight Russell Jordan.
Also on the card is 2008 U.S. Olympian, Gary Russell Jr. in his 8th pro fight, taking on Jairo Delgado in a 6 round featherweight bout.
