LAS VEGAS (Mar. 26, 2010) – The World Boxing Association has rejected a request for a rematch made on behalf of former champion, Gabriel Campillo, who lost his WBA light heavyweight title to Beibut Shumenov by a 12-round majority decision this past January 29. Shumenov will next fight official challenger Vyacheslav Uzelkov.
