On Saturday, March 13, the brand new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas will hold the first ever boxing match at the venue, featuring Filipino dynamo, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao versus Joshua “Grand Master” Clottey of Accra, Ghana.
Top Rank promoter, Bob Arum and Dallas Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones, are happy to get a big fight at the new $1.2 billion dollar football stadium, and both believe Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey will help bring more big fights to the Cowboys facility. Jones and Arum first wanted to host the Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. super fight there, but the fight never materialized and Pacquiao signed on to face tough challenger Joshua Clottey instead.
Pacquiao is known for his blistering speed and combination punching. Clottey, one of the most feared Welterweights, is known for his iron chin and rock solid defense. The two promise to put on a good show Saturday night and each guarantee a victory!
