HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 30, 2010) – Integrated Sports Media, North America’s undisputed champion of major pay-per-view boxing distribution, announced today it will be involved in the airing of the May 29th “Fists Of Steel” event, featuring 3-time and reigning WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali “Dr. Ironfist” Klitschko against European title-holder Albert “The Dragon” Sosnowski, live from Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

“Fists Of Steel” presented by K2 Promotions and Klitschko Management Group, is being distributed in North America by Integrated Sports Media for live viewing at 3 PM/ET – 12 PM/PT on both cable and satellite pay-per-view via iN Demand, DIRECTV, TVN and DISH Network in the United States, as well as Bell TV, Shaw PPV and Viewer’s Choice in Canada, for a suggested retail price of only $24.95.

“North American boxing fans love watching heavyweights fight and we’re thrilled to bring them WBC champion Vitali Klitschko, who along with his brother, Wladimir, rule the heavyweight division,” Integrated Sports president Doug Jacobs remarked. “The interest in Vitali is very high, especially in North America, where he’s only fought once in the past five years. The other PPV fights are being put together and will soon be announced.”

“We are excited about this deal with Integrated Sports and giving US boxing fans the opportunity to watch Vitali fight live in the US,” Tom Loeffler, of K2 Promotions, said.  “When he fought (Chris) Arreola last September in Los Angeles, he had the highest ratings on HBO last year, which proved boxing fans are always interested to see Vitali fight.  He will use this fight to continue the Klitschko domination of the heavyweight division.”

Klitschko (39-2, 37 KOs) has won four straight since coming out of 3-½ years in retirement, stopping Samuel Peter in 2008 and then, in order, Juan Carlos Gomez, Chris Arreola, and Kevin Johnson last December.

“I watched Sosnowski’s fights and must admit that he is a very experienced, quick and tough opponent,” Klitschko commented. “He will do anything to get my belt but I promise that this is not going to happen.”

Poland-native Sosnowski (45-2-1, 27), who now lives and fights out of Essex, United Kingdom,  captured the European Boxing Union heavyweight title in his last fight, winning a 12-round decision this past December against former champion and Italian Olympian, Paolo Vidoz.

“This is a dream come true,” Sosnowski remarked, “a once-in-a-lifetime chance to fight Klitschko for his WBC title belt. For me, Klitschko is over the hill. I know that I am the underdog for everybody, but I tell you, Klitschko will regret picking me. I know many Polish fans in the United States and Canada will watch the fight and support me. I will be the first Polish Heavyweight Champion of the World.”
