The long awaited return of Brock Lesnar the most feared heavyweight champion in UFC history is only moments away and fans are curious to see how he will match-up against the interim heavyweight champ, Shane Carwin at UFC 116.
Brock Lesnar is a former top level NCAA collegiate wrestler and former WWE champon. Brock only has 5 fights on his mixed martial arts resume, but in his fourth fight he became the UFC heavyweight champion after he defeated legend Randy Couture at UFC 91. Brock Lesnar is the biggest draw in the UFC, his appeal comes mainly from his intimidating looks, similar to a young Iron Mike Tyson and his strong crossover appeal with WWE pro wrestling fans ordering his fights.
In Shane Carwin’s entire mixed martial arts career he’s never had a single fight go past the first round, he is undefeated with a record of 12 wins and 0 losses, 7 of his wins came by way of knockout and 5 by submission.
The UFC promises the July 3rd UFC 116 event will deliver early fireworks the day before fourth of July.
