For years the little guys helped carry the sport of boxing with guys like Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao drawing some of the biggest ppv numbers in history, former WEC featherweight champion, Urijah “California Kid” Faber is the WEC’s biggest star and proves that size doesn’t matter when it comes to putting on exciting fights in MMA. Tonight Faber drops down to the bantamweight division limit of 135-pounds and takes on the tough Japanese striker Takeya Mizugaki in his first fight at the weight class. This WEC 52 event from The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada will be the second to last show for the World Extreme Cagefighting before they merge with the UFC next year.
