FLOYD MAYWEATHER WILL CHERRY PICK AGAIN

Let me take full credit for giving Floyd Mayweather Jr. this title: His talent and genius is in knowing who to fight and which opponents to avoid. He steered clear of Kostya Tszyu at 140 and instead chose to fight Henry Bruseles for a Jr. Welterweight title.

He avoided fighters at his own division like Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, and Joshua Clottey and went after smaller guys like the Lightweight Juan Manuel Marquez, and Jr. Welterweight Ricky Hatton.

In my earlier articles, I wrote that Amir Khan would beat Mayweather, so that fight will never happen. I also predicted that Juan Manuel Marquez wouldn’t take a fight against any of the legitimate top 4 Jr. Welterweight like Khan, Andre Berto, Devon Alexander, and Marcos Maidana and will choose to fight Erik Morales instead.

Mayweather’s genius is about to come into play again. I predict if Khan and Tim Bradley don’t fight each other, Mayweather is going to fight Tim Bradley. The talk is out there that Manny Pacquiao is suppose to be avoiding slick African American fighters; and Timothy Bradley along with Andre Berto are the two that come to mind. Mayweather has made a habit of going after fighters that the public think Manny Pacquiao is avoiding, like Shane Mosley and Juan Manuel Marquez. Since there is a perception that Pacquiao is avoiding Berto and Bradley, Floyd is going to fight one of them. Berto is a natural Welterweight just like Floyd, so forget Mayweather choosing Berto for a fight. Bradley is smaller and that gives Mayweather a huge advantage in size, reach, and weight. PERFECT! With Mayweather having those advantages, Bradley is the perfect opponent for Mayweather’s next opponent.

Amir Khan should immediately sign to fight Bradley. Khan has already beaten his most formidable opponent at 140, Marcos Maidana. If Khan/Bradley does happen, Mayweather will be force to fight Andre Berto.

Look for negotiations to start gaining traction in a Timothy Bradley/Floyd Mayweather fight as soon as Floyd is clear of his legal problems.
