Shane Mosley’s Style Beats Manny Pacquiao

My friends and co-workers keep calling me crazy cause I said Shane Mosley is going to knock out Manny Pacquiao before the 9th round.

But I been telling them for a long time that Manny Pacquiao gonna get his butt whopped the first time he get in there with a strong, fast, powerful boxer, that know how to clinch real good.

A lot of people writing Sugar Shane off and not giving him a chance against Manny Pacquiao, but I watch his fights with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and with Sergio Mora and I have my reasons why Mosley looked horrible in those two fights.

See Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the best boxer in the game today, ain’t no one slicker than him, and no one is smarter than him when it comes to that ring smarts. But that isn’t the entire reason why Shane lost that fight and stopped throwing punches after he wobbled Floyd. Shane was on a long lay off from boxing so he had rust on him and that was part of the reason why he looked so sluggish there and the reason why he couldn’t throw much against Mayweather after he rocked him early was because Mayweather made the adjustments to counter Shane’s predictable pitty pat jab followed by a right hand, after Floyd countered that Mosley thought twice before throwing any punches cause he was scared to get countered.

Now for the Sergio Mora fight which ended in a Draw. Mosley was in good condition for that fight but if you watch the HBO highlight video I put below, you can see Sergio Mora is a bad style match-up because he is a running man and likes to clinch and run. Watch this video and you can see Shane had to run after Mora very aggressively up to the last rounds but Sergio was scared to trade because he feared Mosley’s power.

You know the type of fighters does Shane Mosley shine against?

He shines against aggressive fighters with no defense. Manny Pacquiao ain’t no slick boxer and he sure ain’t got no defense. This is why I don’t think Pacquiao can beat Mosley.

Manny Pacquiao looks good against some flat foot fighters, but how will he do when he feels that thudding heavy punching power of Shane Mosley and how will he do when Mosley clinches him and wears him down with his size?

Manny will get shocked in this fight and people can say Shane Mosley is old, but Bernard Hopkins is older than him and look how he is doing against fighters old enough to be his son.

Pacquiao got heart and all that stamina but I think he will take Mosley lightly thinking he’s washed up and he is gonna pay for it. Manny has never fought a fighter with Mosley’s style and his style of fighting is perfectly suited for Shane Mosley.

I see this being a fairly easy match for Mosley and it won’t go past 9 rounds, Mosley by stoppage before round nine.
