Strikeforce and SHOWTIME host another great night of mixed martial arts at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, with two title fights on one night.
The first title fight is a style match-up of grappler vs. striker with world class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion and Strikeforce 185-pound middleweight champ Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza putting his title on the line against the heavy hitting former UFC star and two-time world champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler.
The main event of the evening has two of MMA’s most exciting fighters squaring off in a welterweight title showdown. The brash talking and no nonsense Strikeforce 170-pound welterweight champion Nick Diaz will face the aggressive Brazilian challenger Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos.
Also on the card is the return of former NFL football player Herschel Walker in his second mixed martial arts fight, his opponent is Scott Carson.
The fourth fight of the night will feature Roger Gracie a 10-time Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion and two-time Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Wrestling World Championships winner going against MMA veteran Trevor Prangley.
