A battle of two undefeated young American light-welterweight boxing champions Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley vs. Devon Alexander “The Great” takes place tonight at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan on HBO World Championship Boxing.
Tim Bradley (26-0, 11 KOs) holds the WBO 140-pound light-welterweight title and Devon Alexander (21-0, 13 KOs) holds the WBC 140-pound light-welterweight belt. The winner of tonight’s unification bout will claim the top spot in the 140-pound weight class and can stay at 140 to clean out the division fighting WBA champ Amir Khan and the winner of the IBF title fight between Zab Judah vs. Kaizer Mabuza or the winner of Bradley-Alexander can opt for more lucrative boxing matches in the future with boxing superstars Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr.
