Rising star Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios (26-0-1, 18 KO’s) challenges World Boxing Association (WBA) lightweight champion Miguel Acosta (28-8-2, 22 KO’s) for his title belt on Showtime Championship Boxing.
Brandon Rios, 24, is the young protege of world class trainer Robert Garcia of Oxnard, California.
Also on the televised broadcast is a lightweight co-feature between two tough young Mexican fighters 24-year old Antonio DeMarco (24-2-1, 18 KOs) and 25-year-old Reyes Sanchez (20-3-1, 11 KOs).
