Zab Judah believes Manny Pacquiao’s last 2 fights were staged

Another laundry list of Floyd Mayweather Jr allies basically claiming Manny Pacquiao is a cheater. Whether it is PEDs, Steroids, A Side Meth, Power Pellets, and whatever drugstore substance they will attach to the #1 Pound for Pound fighter in the world, Manny Pacquiao. Now we have Zab Judah now claiming Manny’s last two fights were staged. This is what he said on an interview with FightHype when the topic was about Manny Pacquiao.

“I mean, thats good. Like I said man, I’ve been watching the Pacquiao showdowns and you know, I think a lot of them are STAGED. I think a lot of them are different. I mean like fighters like Joshua Clottey, they just stood up there and didn’t bother to throw a punch. When I fought Joshua Clottey, he tried to go for broke. He tried to swing like he was swinging at an African Lion. When he fought Pacquiao, he just stood there like he was stuck on stupid, you know. Margarito is a fighter we know to be a killer. He didn’t do anything to Pacquiao, you know what I’m saying. I mean I don’t know. I can’t say these guys are staging fights but whatever case may be I think an in shape and well trained Shane Mosley should knock Pacquiao out.” (source)

It is so contradictory in Zab’s comments claiming Manny’s fight with Clottey and Margarito was staged but then says “I don’t know” and “I can’t say these guys are staging fights”. If Zab doesn’t think they are or not staging fights, then why bother commenting they are staged fights?  Either Zab has not fully recovered from his devastating knock out from the hands of Kostya Tszyu where Zab stood straight up and told the referee “don’t ever play with matches” for which right after fell down to the ground where immediately the fight was called off.

Zab Judah should keep his idiotic opinion to himself and just focus on his next fight with Kaizer Mabuza. Zab nearly lost his last fight against Lucas Matthysse and got nearly knocked out again. Zab who is an extremely talented fighter but the criticisms many boxing aficionados have been saying about Zab Judah is his lack of heart. Not able to just put it all in the line and unable to withstand and dominate a fight from start to finish. One of the most pathetic and embarrassing losses for Zab Judah was his loss to Carlos Baldomir. Zab was heavily favored to beat the tortoise “Tata” Baldomir at 16 to 1. But Zab Judah couldn’t beat a fighter who was clearly not in the same class as him, got his butt handed to him by one of the slowest welterweight in the history of boxing. Baldomir has no footwork. No power in his punches. Basically zero defense and no hand speed. It was an inexcusable loss and embarrassing for Zab Judah.  They say speed kills, well that doesn’t apply to speedy Zab Judah.

Later in the interview, Zab Judah mentioned again that Floyd Mayweather is done with boxing. And Zab will carry the torch. Who is Zab Judah kidding? He will not get passed Bradley, Khan or Maidana. That punch from Kostya Tszyu must have been a real humdinger. The Superstar believes Zab Judah has not fully recovered from that punch over 10 years ago.
