I Was Wrong, Manny Pacquiao Put FEAR Into Shane Mosley!

WOW! I was wrong, I can’t believe Shane Mosley fought scared like that. Manny Pacquiao is truly the pound-for-pound king.

The fight wasn’t super exciting but Manny proved me wrong, I am not one to back down from my word, but before the fight happened, I just couldn’t picture Shane Mosley losing this fight. Mosley was on his backfoot and actually got on his bike the whole fight.

What I saw in Mosley is what I saw in the eyes of Mike Tyson’s opponents before they stepped into the ring with him….FEAR.

Manny put FEAR into Shane Mosley’s heart. This wasn’t the same Shane Mosley we are used to seeing. Shane is known for his fearless style and his love of going toe to toe with brawlers bigger and stronger than him, but this time he was scared to trade with a smaller man, and after that knockdown Pacquiao put on him in the third round, Shane went into super defensive mode for the first time in his life.

After the fight Mosley said that Manny’s power was the difference. I couldn’t believe Manny was able to hurt Shane like that, but Mosley admit that the power was what made him cautious in trading with Manny, he said never felt that type of power before.

I guess it’s safe to say now that Manny Pacquiao really has heavy hands. We can put that to rest, if he could drop an iron chinned Shane Mosley with a short left cross like that and make him dizzy, that means he has true punching power.

Manny tried to press the  fight but Mosley didn’t want any. I don’t even think a prime Shane Mosley who was willing to trade blow for blow could beat this version of Manny Pacquiao.

Mosley’s trainer Naazim Richardson was right, calling Manny Pacquiao a small welterweight is like calling Mike Tyson and David Tua small heavyweights. Manny Pacquiao is short but he isn’t small.

I hope now that Manny Pacquiao fights again soon, he didn’t take any punishment in this fight and I hope he fights sometime in the Summer maybe August?

Since Floyd Mayweather Jr. is tied up with legal troubles and probably won’t fight Manny Pacquiao, I would love to see Manny versus Juan Manuel Marquez again or Tim Bradley or Zab Judah in the Summer.

Manny you proved me wrong, and I have to eat my humble pie. You are the man.
