On Saturday June 4th, WBC Super-Middleweight champion Carl “The Cobra” Froch (27-1, 20 KOs) defends his title against the rugged veteran Glen “The Road Warrior” Johnson (51-14-2, 35 KOs) at the Adrian Philipps Ballroom of Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey.
The winner of Froch vs. Johnson will fight undefeated American Super-middleweight champ Andre Ward in the Finals of the Showtime Super Six World Boxing Classic.
Also on the televised card is Mikkel Kessler (43-2, 32 KOs) vs. Mehdi Bouadla (23-3, 11 KOs). Kessler vs. Bouadla will be held at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. This fight marks the first fight back for Mikkel Kessler since having to pull out of the Super Six tournament due to an eye injury that required surgery.
Right before the Froch vs. Johnson fight, Showtime will air a fifth episode of “Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs. Mosley,” at 8:45 PM ET/PT that will show moments during the fight when Mosley asked his corner to stop the fight, and other moments with Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley after the fight.
