The Ultimate Fighter: Team Lesnar vs. Team dos Santos Finale airs on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Season 13 of the widely popular Mixed Martial Arts reality series had former UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Heavyweight contender Junior dos Santos as coaches of two Welterweight teams. Lesnar and dos Santos were supposed to fight at UFC 131 on June 11, but Brock Lesnar had to pull out because he had to undergo surgery on his colon. The heavy handed Shane Carwin is the replacement and will fight Junio dos Santos at UFC 131.
The two Welterweight fighters who made it to the final and will fight for the title of The Ultimate Fighter and a six figure contract with the UFC will be Team dos Santos member Ramsey Nijem vs. Team Lesnar member Tony Ferguson.
The co-feature bout will be an exciting Lightweight match between Clay “The Carpenter” Guida and former WEC Lightweight champion “Showtime” Anthony Pettis.
The UFC confirmed that all six preliminary bouts will stream live for FREE on the UFC’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UFC).
