Amir Khan stops Judah in 5, proves he’s at the level of Pacquiao and Mayweather

Amir “King” Khan proved why he holds the throne in the 140-pound weight division by stopping Zab Judah a slick veteran fighter and holder of the IBF light-welterweight title in 5 rounds with a body shot.

I remember before ever watching Amir Khan box, that I thought Zab Judah was the fastest fighter I ever seen, but when Khan and Judah stepped in the ring tonight, it was clear as day that Khan’s speed was too much for Zab Judah.

There is no question who has the fastest hands in boxing right now, not Manny Pacquiao, not Zab Judah, not even Floyd Mayweather Jr., but Amir Khan. You have to be one fast SOB to out speed a guy like Zab Judah, and Zab is super fast with his hands.

Khan outclassed Judah in every way possible, he out paced him, out moved him, out punched him. People can question Khan’s power but after tonight’s fight seeing the right side of Zab’s cheek swollen and his nose and mouth dripping with blood, I would say he has some power wouldn’t you?

Amir Khan has the WBA and IBF belts now and already has the other champion at light welterweight running scared, and that is Timothy Bradley, who chickened out of a fight with Amir and walked away from the most lucrative deal of his life, a 50-50 revenue split with Khan. This automatically makes Khan the man to beat at 140-pounds, but I don’t think he will be at 140 much longer, he is clearly filling into his body and looked more like a welterweight in the ring coming in at 151 pounds on fight night. I think Amir should go up a class and will really shine at welterweight and tonight he proved that he is at the elite level, he is up there with Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. and deserves a place on the top ten pound-for-pound list.

Bring them on, a rematch with Marcos Maidana, a fight with Lucas Matthysse, or WBC,WBO champion Timothy Bradley, Khan beats them all.
