All Blame Must Be Placed On Manny Pacquiao

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao isn’t happening because Manny Pacquiao doesn’t want the fight.

After going over countless interviews from Freddie Roach, Michael Koncz, and Bob Arum, all of them have agreed on one thing, it’s Manny Pacquiao who picks his opponent and nobody else.

The Pacman calls the shots. The media and the boxing fans who pay to watch his fights need to wake up, and start putting all of the blame on him.  He is a congressman in the Philippines for crying out loud, you mean to tell me a guy who was able to become a politician and an elected official can’t think for himself? Why would they vote an incompetent person into office over there. Hey Filipinos, this is the guy who might one day run your country.

Everyone was quick to blame Floyd Mayweather Jr. for bringing up steroids, or Bob Arum for being greedy and scared to put Manny in the ring with Floyd, but no one has ever thought maybe it’s Manny who doesn’t want the fight?

Bob Arum has stated in the past that Manny Pacquiao is a dear, dear, friend of his and Arum is willing to take all of the heat and blame just to cover up the truth, that it’s the Pacman who is calling the shots. That is what a dear friend does, they are willing to be the fall guy to protect persons name and image. After all, Arum has said his proudest moment wouldn’t be Pacquiao beating Mayweather it would be him being President of the Philippines someday.

All Arum does is give Manny Pacquiao a list of opponents and a bit of advice on financial differences and Manny picks who he wants to fight and requests stipulations such as catch weights for each fight.

Remember when Yuri Foreman was at one time the top choice of opponent for Manny recommended by Arum? The one who turned down that fight was Manny himself! He said that Yuri Foreman was too big and fast for him.

Think about it. Manny Pacquiao said he could beat Antonio Margarito because he was slow and he also waited 4 years before each rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez hoping Juan slowed down enough for him to beat him.  A real great fighter wouldn’t need to age or drain a fighter, they would figure out that fighters style and try to adapt and change, but the only one who really knows Manny is himself, and he knows that he isn’t smart enough to beat a slick counter puncher like Floyd Mayweather Jr. this is why the fight hasn’t happened and probably will never happen because Manny Pacquiao lacks confidence in his own abilities and knows what styles he can’t beat.
