UFC returns to Brazil with UFC RIO 142: Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes on Saturday, January 14, 2012. The main event is a featherweight championship fight between the current UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo of Brazil and the number 1 undefeated challenger Chad Mendes of the United States. In the co-main event the explosive mixed martial arts legend Vitor Belfort will be matched against Anthony “Rumble” Johnson. This will also be Vitor Belfort’s first fight in his native Brazil in more than 13 years.
