Solution: Floyd Mayweather should pay Manny Pacquiao 1 billion in pesos

We all know Floyd Mayweather Jr. deserves the lions share of the money in all of his Pay-Per-View fights, and that is why his nickname is “Money” because every time he fights he generates a lot of it. There is no question that Money Mayweather is the biggest draw in all of boxing and the highest paid athlete per event.

What Manny Pacquiao and his fans fail to understand is he is not worthy of sharing a 50-50 split with Mayweather because he has never made over $10 million in a fight according NSAC files. Why should he be able to get such a pay increase and be equal to Floyd Mayweather who earns a minimum of $25 million a fight and earns up to $40 million a fight on the back end.

Pacquiao is foolish to reject a $40 million flat fee offered to him by Floyd, or maybe Pacquiao has no clue how much his promoter Bob Arum is really paying him because who in their right mind would reject $40 million when their highest guaranteed payday was $7 million. There is something wrong when the promoter gets paid more than the fighter who risks his life in the boxing ring, this is how you know Mayweather was right when he said “Manny Pacquiao has the worst deal in boxing.”

Floyd Mayweather is an American and Manny Pacquiao is a Filipino living in the Philippines, so the best way I can see this fight coming to fruition is if Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes the $40 million off of the table and pays Manny Pacquiao in Philippine currency, pay Pacquiao in pesos. I say pay Manny Pacquiao 1 billion pesos since that will make him filthy rich in his native country, I believe the USD equivalent to 1 billion pesos is $23,430,000 million, Floyd should just pay him that amount and explain to Manny that he will be a billionaire in his country. And to sweeten the deal Floyd should throw in an extra 40 million pesos. Why would Manny want American money anyway when he lives in the Philippines and plans to retire there and run for President one day? Manny fights for the fans and not money right? Remember he is the peoples champion.

That to me is the most logical solution to the money issue.
