Eubank responds to Froch claim

Super-middleweight great Chris Eubank has shot down recent claims from ‘Cobra’ Carl Froch that Eubank’s world title resume “doesn’t come close” to that of Froch’s.

“In my four-year period, I fought Michael Watson twice, Nigel Benn twice, Steve Collins twice, Malinga and Graciano Rocchigiani before they were past their peaks – all multiple-time world champions, apart from Watson; who was beyond possessed and borderline unbeatable in our second fight,” Eubank boasted.

“The fighters today have a way to go to compete – certainly objectively.”

Eubank also fought the likes of Joe Calzaghe, Lindell Holmes, Tony Thornton and Henry Wharton in a glittering super-middleweight career. Eubank clearly feels stung by Froch’s claims and still believes that HE is the one who is “Simply the Best”!
