Floyd Mayweather doesn’t want to fight Manny Pacquiao because he fears for his health

I can’t believe there are people out there who side with Floyd Mayweather Jr. and continue to claim that Manny Pacquiao is the scared one.

Floyd Mayweather has already admit to his fear of Manny Pacquiao when he brought up “performance enhancement drugs” and he further continues to admit to fear when he keeps talking about “self preservation”, and “health is more important”, he only mentions these things when the topic of possibly fighting Manny Pacquiao comes up.

Floyd not fearing Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez, Ricky Hatton, Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz, goes to show you maybe he is cherry picking these guys.  The one guy who he clearly does fear is a former flyweight who dominated bigger men, even though, Floyd will be the first to tell you at 16 years old which is the same age Manny Pacquiao turned pro at 106 pounds, he was also 106 pounds but as an amateur boxer.

Floyd keeps saying Manny’s rise in weight is unheard of or not natural, well it seems pretty natural to me, Manny never really put on much weight when he fought Oscar De La Hoya at 147 pounds, he weighed 142 pounds that fight. When Manny was a featherweight (126-130 pounds) he would put on a couple of pounds on fight day and weighed-in around 142-144 pounds, so where is this unnatural amount of muscle he put on? It just looks like Pacquiao stopped cutting weight to fight at 130 pounds and fights at his natural walk around weight just like Mayweather does.

Floyd knows Pacquiao is a real threat to his health and undefeated record, so he’d rather put up roadblocks preventing the super-fight from getting made and continue to use Pacquiao’s name to sell his fights without actually having to fight him, and than go on vacation, hoping and praying that Manny Pacquiao loses his next fight.

Floyd should just come out and say it straight “I’m scared of Manny Pacquiao,” because at this point nobody is buying into his act unless they are some gullible diehard Floyd fanatics.

I have this funny feeling that if Manny Pacquiao defeats the tough undefeated Timothy Bradley in spectacular fashion, Floyd will never fight Manny Pacquiao and officially announce his retirement from jail.

At the end of the day, Manny Pacquiao is bad for Floyd Mayweather’s health.

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
