HBO sports presents a long block of boxing on June 16 starting with the replay of the controversial HBO Pay-Per-View fight Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley, and followed by a live middleweight championship bout Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs. Andy Lee, and “The Fight Game with Jim Lampley, and capped off with 2 Days: Nonito Donaire.
On HBO World Championship Boxing, WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, the son of one of the greatest boxing legends to come out of Mexico takes on tough Irish boxer Andy Lee live from the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
On the second installment of HBO’s new boxing series “The Fight Game with Jim Lampley”, host Jim Lampley will go over the controversial scoring and judging in the Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley fight on June 8, 2012 a bout that many observers felt Pacquiao won but the decision was given to Bradley. Lampley will interview Duane Ford, who was one of the judges who scored the fight in favor of Bradley. Max Kellerman and Roy Jones Jr. will join the discussion and there will also be interviews with president of Top Rank, Todd duBoef, and Tim Bradley’s manager Cameron Dunkin.
