Tonight on HBO World Championship Boxing live from the Boardwalk Hall, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, undefeated lightweight Adrien Broner will make his lightweight debut against the current WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco, and as the co-feature undefeated heavyweight contender Seth Mitchell will face Johnathan Banks.
Adrien Broner is quickly becoming one of boxing’s rising young stars, just 23-years-old, he has already won a world title at super featherweight and has appeared on HBO several times, he will be challenging the tough and battle tested Mexican champion Antonio DeMarco for his WBC lightweight title.
Seth Mitchell is a former Michigan State University linebacker who is considered by many boxing experts to be the best American heavyweight boxing contender with the potential to become a heavyweight champion. He will take on current heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko’s stablemate Jonathan Banks in a 12-round non title heavyweight bout.
