The Ultimate Fighting Championships heads back to the land down under Australia on Friday December 14 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland, Australia with UFC on FX 6/The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes – Team Australia vs. Team UK Finale. The main event will be a lightweight match-up between the two head coaches for the reality series The Ultimate Fight: The Smashes, coach George Sotiropoulos of Team Australia and Ross Pearson of Team UK. The UFC on FX 6 card will also feature the finals matches to determine the TUF: The Smashes welterweight and lightweight winners, the welterweight finals showdown pits Team Australia’s Robert Whittaker vs. Team UK’s Brad Scott, and the lightweight finals will feature two Team UK members Colin Flecther and Norman Parke fighting to be declared the lightweight winner of TUF: The Smashes. Also on the card will be a showdown between decorated Cuban Judoka Hector Lombard versus dangerous grappler Rousimar Palhares of Brazil.
