TRAVIS KAUFFMAN BACK WITH 2ND ROUND DESTRUCTION OVER PERRYMAN IN MEMPHIS

February 19, 2013 By NB News

READING, PA (February 20, 2013)—This past Friday in Memphis, Heavyweight prospect Travis “GW Hope” Kauffman returned to the ring with a second round destruction over Willie Perryman.

Kauffman, 27 years old of Reading, PA dominated the first round and scored what looked like a knockdown in round one but somehow the referee ruled a low blow.

In round two, Kauffman landed a hard right that was followed by a left hook that sent Perryman for the count and the bout was ended at 2:28 of round two.

“I am happy to be back in the ring”, said Travis

“It’s time to move on to bigger and better things. I am now 24-1 with 18 knockouts and I want to step it up behind me. I have a great promotional team behind me in Greg Cohen Promotions and they will move me the right way. I am now ranked number fourteen by the WBA so I am looking at (champion) Alexander Povetkin or someone of that caliber.”

“My fans want me to rematch Tony Grano and of course I would like to redeem myself”

Said Kauffman’s father/trainer Marshall Kauffman, “It’s great to see Travis back in the ring. It is time to move on to bigger and better opportunities”
