Tyson Fury KO’s Steve Cunningham In A Dirty Fight

Tyson Fury wins his US debut but used a disgusting display of unsportsmanlike conduct and dirty tactics. Fury had a major weight and height advantage over Steve Cunningham a former cruiserweight, and in the first round he was taunting and showboating, once the bell ended he shoved Cunningham in a very disrespectful way.

The second round was almost instant Karma, Cunningham attacks Fury with a relentless pace and loads up on a perfectly placed overhand right hand similar to the one that Juan Manuel Marquez knocked Manny Pacquiao down with early in their fourth bout. Fury stays on the canvas clearly shaken to gain his composure and pops right back up, only to resort to using dirty tactics to put wear and tear on the smaller Cunningham.

Tyson Fury uses his elbows, and later in the fight he gets rocked again by Cunningham and applies a nasty choke hold to tie up so he can recover after being wobbled hard. The fight remained dirty and after leaning on Cunningham multiple times and tiring him with lots of clinching and choking, he finishes him off with a sneaky right hook knocking him out in the 7th round while his left foreman and elbow was pushing on Cunningham’s neck. The fight was filled with a lot of action and drama, but Tyson’s performance didn’t live up to his self promoted hype. How can you be the greatest if you can’t even beat a smaller guy impressively? All Fury did was tie up and smother with elbows, maybe he was preparing for a possible showdown with UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, who he has been talking crap about,  I personally think Cain would spark Tyson out within the first round if they fight whether it be boxing or MMA.

If Tyson Fury wants a crack at Wladimir Klitschko he better get a hospital bed ready because if he got rocked by a smaller man who only weighed 210 pounds imagine what a real heavyweight the size of Wladimir Klitschko would do to him if he landed on flush on his chin?

Fury is more of a gimmick, a man who is trying to talk his way into a title shot by being rude and controversial. All he has is size, other than that he won’t last long. Maybe he should just take up lounge singing?
