FX presents UFC 159: Jones vs. Chael Sonnen Prelims live on April 26 from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The televised prelims are the fights that do not make it on the UFC 159 main pay-per-view broadcast card, but the UFC televises these fights for fans to see giving the fighters on the preliminary card more exposure to a wider audience while allowing fight fans to enjoy more fights as they wait for the anticipated pay-per-view Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen light heavyweight championship main event.
UFC 159 prelims on FX will feature the UFC debut of top undefeated women’s bantamweight Sara McMann who is also an Olympic silver medalist for wrestling, she will take on Sheila Gaff. Two former Strikeforce light heavyweights Gian Villante and Ovince St. Preux will be making their UFC Octagon debut against each other. Russian lightweight standout Rustam Khabilov will fight Yancy Medeiros, and former TUF contestant Bryan Caraway will take on Johnny Bedford in a Bantamweight bout.
